Hello! I’m Chloe Hill, a Student Success Mentor with a strong background in counselling, psychology, and education. I’m passionate about helping young people unlock their potential by developing the confidence, motivation, and practical skills they need to thrive — both in school and in life.
I’m currently completing my MSc in Counselling Children and Young People at the University of Northampton, where I’ve trained in person-centred, CBT, systemic, and creative approaches. Alongside my studies, I work as a School Counsellor in a secondary school, supporting students aged 11–16 to manage stress, set goals, and grow in self-belief.
My experience across school counselling, special educational needs (SEN) support, and wellbeing work means I understand the academic and emotional challenges that students face — from time management and exam stress to low confidence and motivation. I help students create realistic action plans, celebrate progress, and build resilience to face future challenges.
I support students with:
Building self-confidence and emotional resilience
Developing study routines and time management strategies
Setting and achieving goals step-by-step
Monitoring and celebrating progress to sustain motivation
Overcoming self-doubt and performance anxiety
Qualifications:
MSc Counselling Children and Young People (University of Northampton, 2023–2026)
BSc Psychology (University of Birmingham, 2:1 Honours)
Over 100+ client hours working therapeutically with young people aged 11–16
BACP member and trained Designated Safeguarding Lead
Experienced in school-based wellbeing, SEN support, and student engagement
My Approach:
I combine coaching and counselling techniques to create a warm, supportive space where students can explore their challenges, recognise their strengths, and take confident steps forward. Sessions are flexible, collaborative, and always tailored to each individual’s goals and personality.
Availability:
Sessions are available online and flexibly scheduled around students’ study commitments.
