I gained experience as a Chemistry, maths, and English tutor, where I supported students by identifying their weaknesses and helping them turn these into strengths. I taught according to the syllabus, breaking down complex concepts into clear explanations that matched each student’s learning style. To track progress, I set and reviewed homework, using the results to tailor my approach and provide targeted support. This role developed my strong communication and organizational skills, as well as patience and adaptability, enabling me to create a supportive learning environment where students felt confident to ask questions and improve.

The content is closely linked to the exam syllabus, with attention to key definitions, calculations, and common pitfalls. I integrate past paper questions and timed practice to build exam technique and confidence. At the end of each lesson, I include a short review or summary quiz so students can consolidate what they’ve learned and highlight areas to revisit next time.

My lessons are structured but interactive. I usually begin with a short recap of the previous topic to check understanding, then introduce the new concept in clear, manageable steps. I use worked examples and problem-solving exercises to show how the theory applies in practice. Students are encouraged to actively participate, whether by answering questions, attempting practice problems, or explaining their reasoning.

I also bring creativity and flexibility into your sessions, adapting activities to different learning styles. Visual aids, diagrams, and simple analogies help students grasp abstract concepts. Encouragement and positive feedback motivate learners, building confidence and promoting independent study habits.
