My online Gujarati and Hindi lessons are tailored to your age, level and reasons for learning. You might want to speak with family, reconnect with your heritage, or learn to read and write. We will begin by discussing your goals and what you already know.

Lessons combine conversation practice with clear explanations of vocabulary, pronunciation and sentence structure. If you want to develop reading and writing skills, we will work on these step by step. You will have plenty of opportunities to practise, ask questions and revisit anything you find difficult.

I have experience teaching children, adults and professionals. Having lived in both India and the UK, I understand the different needs of learners growing up with these languages and those discovering them for the first time.

I teach Gujarati from beginner to advanced level and Hindi from beginner to intermediate level. My aim is to make each lesson enjoyable, practical and useful beyond the classroom.
