For Beginners & Children
I use NHK World Easy Japanese and children's anime to make learning fun and natural. These resources build listening skills and vocabulary through real, everyday Japanese — not just textbook phrases. Kids especially love learning through characters and stories they enjoy.

For Professionals
Business Japanese is a different world. I use situation-based scenarios — think job interviews, client meetings, emails, and presentations — so you practise exactly what you'll need in the workplace. From humble language (kenjogo) to formal expressions (sonkeigo), I'll make sure you sound confident and appropriate in any professional setting.

My Experience
I taught English to children as a camp leader at Kumon, where I learned how to make language fun and accessible for young learners. Outside the classroom, I regularly help foreign friends who are learning Japanese — explaining grammar, natural expressions, and the cultural nuances that textbooks often skip. In my professional life, I use formal keigo daily, so I know firsthand what it takes to sound polished and natural in a Japanese workplace.

My Teaching Style
I believe language learning should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. Having learned a second language myself, I know how overwhelming it can be — so I break things down, go at your pace, and celebrate every small win. As a tea and onigiri enthusiast, I also bring genuine cultural warmth to every lesson!
