I teach Mathematics for upper primary and junior secondary students, along with ICT for junior school — subjects I approach with the belief that every learner grasps ideas differently, so no single explanation should be the only one on offer.
Format
Each lesson runs from a structured note I prepare in advance — clear objectives, a worked example, guided practice, and independent exercises to close. Nothing is improvised on the spot; you'll always know what a lesson is building toward and how it connects to the one before it.
Mathematics: We break concepts down step by step — whether it's mastering order of operations (BODMAS), fractions, or algebraic basics — with plenty of guided practice before students are asked to work independently. I check understanding as we go rather than waiting until the end.
ICT: Lessons are hands-on and practical — students aren't just told what a spreadsheet or a search engine does, they use one, right there in their lesson.
