Chiaka Uchechi Unegbu

Hi! My name is Chiaka, and I am fondly called Miss Uche by my kids. I have more than five years of teaching experience tutoring over 100 students remotely and onsite, specialising in Maths and Computer Science from EYFS to Grade four, ages 5 to 10. I would love to support your child to thrive in Maths and Computer science.

I have a degree in Applied and Industrial Mathematics and currently undergoing Post Graduate Program in Education at the University of Nottingham. I am a Google and Microsoft Certified Educator, and I am proficient in using their learning tools for my classes.

I always teach my students the easiest and most effective methods, which makes them easily understand Maths and ICT concepts. My teaching style is student-centric and project-based, encouraging curiosity and creativity on the part of my learners. I am patient and strongly believe every child is unique and different. I always incorporate fun starter activities at the start of each lesson and mini-plenaries during the course of teaching to gauge assessments. I utilize video presentations, gamification and interactive slides and quizzes to meet learners' needs.

My passion is to instil in the next generation 21st century skillsets a love of lifelong learning and the right tools to reach their goals.
