Raymond Hon

Raymond is a highly experienced tutor, musician and conductor. He began
his musical training at 6 as a choir member. At the age of 9, he entered
the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, learning violin and viola with
the former leader of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Wai Ming Wong.
In 2007, he finished his music training, the academy awarded him the
Christopher Berrisford Scholarship as a special recognition to his outstanding performance.

He had worked for the
Leisure and Cultural Services Department, government of Hong Kong, giving lessons to
teenagers, helping to develop their interest and potential in music.

In 2023, He moved to Edinburgh to continue his music career. Not long after settling down, Raymond’s outstanding playing and inspirational teaching style have impressed the local musicians and parents.
