I have a stong background in maths, and experience in teaching maths concepts to students of all levels as well as recent experience in sitting the exams themselves.

My lessons will focus on a particular topic or key concept as each of my lessons are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each student. The lessons will consist of interactive explanations, discussion of misunderstood areas and I will provide a short question sheet - in order to train understanding of the area - a couple of these questions will be done in the lesson time so I can check you’re on the right path.

Furthermore I will be very happy to provide guidance if you are feeling stuck on any other pieces of maths work (I am not going to do your homework for you) and go over previous areas if you are still stuck. Due to my experience I am well suited to also provide exam technique assistance and revision advice.

My aim for these lessons is to provide a deep knowledge of each concept derived from breaking them down into smaller, more manageable concepts and knowing the reason why each technique works, while allowing the students to feel it is an open space for discussion. This means the students are able to apply them in not before seen contexts and problems.
