Hello! My name is Charlotte and I’m passionate about Music, French and Spanish. I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential. I am enthusiastic, encouraging and patient, aiming to foster a supportive environment where students have the space to think critically and develop genuine understanding.
In 2024 I graduated from Durham University with a First-class honours degree in Music (BA), achieving three A*s in Music, French and Spanish A-levels before this at Norwich School. From September 2024-July 2025 I worked as the Music and Sports Graduate Assistant at Mount House School, where I gained extensive one-to-one and group teaching experience. I taught music A-level on a one-to-one basis, guiding a student through the entire course in a condensed one year programme. This included preparing and delivering lessons, setting homework and running mock examinations. I was also a language assistant to GCSE students in my sixth form, developing speaking skills and any queries that arose from the course content. Teaching is the most rewarding experience I’ve had and I’m excited to continue it with MyTutor.
My lessons are varied and interactive, drawing on listening, speaking, reading, writing and practical activities to engage different learning styles. I am also an understanding and compassionate teacher who is comfortable supporting students of all abilities.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries. Bye, adios and au revoir!
