I am an Environmental Science tutor focused on helping students understand how natural systems interact with human activity, and how we can solve real-world environmental challenges using scientific principles.
Core speciality topics include ecology, climate systems, sustainability and environmental impact assessment.
Having worked for three big consumer goods companies (P&G, Unilever and Reckitt), I bring this to life via real world examples, helping students connect theory in order to adequately prepare for interviews.
If you are exam focused, I help students improve grades by breaking down complex environmental systems into clear, structured concepts and strengthening exam technique, data interpretation, and essay writing.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-level students studying Environmental Science, Geography, or Biology. I also support first year university students would like industry examples of the theory they have been taught and interview practice.
My tutoring is ideal for students who are curious about environmental issues such as climate change, ecosystems, sustainability and human impact on the planet.
During our first session I will start by identifying gaps in understanding and exam technique so each lesson targets your exact needs. I will then break systems down into cause, process and effect. I am a visual learner so can provide lots of diagrams and flow charts to aid learning. Alternatively for those with more of an analytical mind I can delve into detail.
Previous experience includes tutoring GCSE and A-level Biology and Chemistry.
