Currently, a master’s student at the University of Bradford studying Finance and Investment. My field of study influences my teaching style as I do not just help you understand the number operations in Maths but to appreciate the application to real life.
As an undergraduate at the University, I developed basic teaching skills as a private home lesson teacher for about ten students in Primary and Secondary Schools. I designed teaching aids to facilitate their learning process. At Chevron, I was a member of the Chevron XYZ Network. I participated in weekly teaching sessions in Mathematics and Financial Accounting to approximately eighty students in selected Primary and Secondary schools around the Company’s host community.
I am very enthusiastic about children and how they grow to achieve their goals. My key strength is in establishing a two-way communication system by engaging my students constantly to understand their needs while teaching. Resilience is my watchword, this keeps me focused on crossing any challenges in my student’s learning process.
My goal is not just to teach you but to understand your study goals and work with you to achieve them. I use a combination of different teaching styles to enable us to achieve the desired goal. The first process is to understand your strengths, and difficulties and to determine what your goals are in alignment with the school's syllabus.
My classes are interactive and include practical applications to real-life situations. There is a quiz game at the beginning of the session to test what was learned in the previous class and another at the end to test what was learnt during the day's session.
