I am a dedicated and patient Maths tutor currently studying A-Level Mathematics, with plans to study Mathematics with Finance at university. Having recently gone through GCSE and A-Level Maths myself, I understand both the content and the exam techniques needed to achieve top grades. I have experience tutoring GCSE students and a KS3 student, as well as working as a part-time basketball coach, which has strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles.

My lessons are structured, supportive and tailored to each individual student. I begin by identifying strengths, weaknesses and target grades, then create a focused plan to close knowledge gaps and build confidence. I believe Maths should make sense, not feel overwhelming, so I break complex topics down into simple, logical steps and make sure students understand the “why” behind each method.

I mainly teach online using Zoom or Google Meet. This allows me to share my screen, use an interactive whiteboard, and work through questions step-by-step in real time. Lessons are interactive — students actively attempt questions, explain their thinking, and practise exam-style problems rather than just listening.

For GCSE and A-Level Maths, I place strong emphasis on exam technique, showing students how to structure solutions clearly, avoid common mistakes, and pick up method marks even when unsure. We regularly practise past paper questions to build familiarity and confidence under exam conditions.

My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students develop logical thinking skills and a genuine understanding of Maths so they feel more confident tackling challenging problems independently.
