The lesson is a one on one, fun interactive discussion.

The hour will include a conversation that is focused on your (the learners) daily activities, job description, personal preferences and interests.

Depending on the age and level of a learner, the general focus of the lesson is not on words but rather ideas and opinions, and then expressing those ideas the correct way in English. The practice for this will be verbal and written.

Reading and comprehension skills will be apart of the lesson. Also, a little handwriting will be included. If it all sounds too much, don't worry, just a little at a time, or if you are the type of person that likes to run with it, we will go at your pace.

The lesson is concluded with a summary of the discussion and a goal for you (the student) to work on until the next lesson.

As a teacher, I understand everyone has different motives for wanting to learn English. I also, understand that sometimes there's an overall goal or outcome a student is wanting to achieve, and learning or improving English is intrinsic to achieving that goal. My lessons are mindful of these considerations and will be adapted to a level that will suit you.

As we go on this journey together of discovering the English language, I am committed to helping you, and I am flexible with the time of each lesson every week or as often as you would like.
