I have extensive experience teaching math to elementary, middle, and high school students in an academy setting. This experience has taught me how to adapt lessons to meet the diverse abilities of individual students, ensuring that each learner can progress effectively.
In addition, I worked as a nurse in Korea, where I communicated with people of all ages, from young children to elderly patients. This experience strengthened my interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to explain concepts clearly. It directly informs my approach to teaching Korean, allowing me to tailor lessons to each student’s needs and maintain a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
I also have experience teaching Korean to foreign students via video calls, developing strategies to engage students interactively, clarify language concepts, and keep motivation high. Throughout the course, I will identify areas where students need additional support while praising their strengths. By fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment, I aim to help students develop their language skills step by step, ultimately enabling them to communicate confidently and understand spoken Korean more effectively in real-life situations.
