Hello and welcome to learning English with me. I am an experienced ESL, EFL instructor with over twenty years of teaching and have taught students from various parts of the world, ethnicities, proficiency levels and age groups. I am also a published author and am working on my second novel. I write novels, short stories and poetry.

I develop customised lessons that are based on individual learning needs. In addition, I adopt a hands-on, interactive teaching learning methodology that provides learners with the opportunity to practice what the learn, ask questions, role play, play games and more. Lessons with me are usually fun where you get to talk about, read about and learn about things that interest you. If you're a teen who loves fantasy fiction, sports or gaming, then those are the things we use as a base for our lessons. If you're older and at University and would love to discuss more serious and relevant issues, those can ba adapted into lessons that keep you interested.
When you come to class, all you need in an open mind and the willingness to participate.
When it comes to working professionals, I have experience training marketing professionals, HR professionals, accountants, customer service executives, travel and tourism professionals, and even IT professionals. Whether it's speaking to customers, writing that perfect email or presentation skills, I have it covered.
Lessons can be fun and there is always something to be gained even from listening to songs, watching the television, a blog post, an advertisement and even a comic strip.
English doesn't have to be difficult and I believe we can overcome whatever hurdles we encounter along the way.
