Cerys Wilson

I'm Cerys, an English, Spanish and Politics tutor for students from primary school to A-Level with more than two years' experience in helping students reach their full potential! I have just graduated from King's College London with a degree in Law with a year abroad studying law completely in Spanish after having achieved all A* and A grades (8-9) at GCSE and A- Level. I absolutely love tutoring as helping students to build confidence, curiosity and creativity allows them to discover that they are capable of more than they thought was possible. As someone who understands that learning can often feel challenging, I ensure to tailor all of my lessons to the students' individual learning needs, emphasising that sessions are a safe space for asking questions and working through any doubts or tricky topics. Each listen will be highly interactive, usually carried out through Google Meet. I find that this works best as I am able to share my screen with the student so that they can see everything that we are working on, whether that be a past paper question or a creative writing exercise. My classes encourage active participation as I believe that the best way to improve is to practice! With extensive experience across multiple curricula and exam boards, I am able to provide resources and exam tips and tricks to suit the requirements of the student.
