Hi there!

I am a Chevening Scholar pursuing a master's degree in Education and Technology at the University College London. I hold an undergraduate degree in English language, and I have been working as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher for more than 7 years, delivering in-person and virtual classes. I have worked with learners of various ages and proficiency levels. I have taught in schools, universities, and language institutes, designing and implementing English language programs. I have also been delivering private lessons online since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. My expertise includes preparing students for job interviews, scholarships, and international exams, such as the TOEFL.

I also have experience teaching Spanish in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Paraguay. During my academic exchange at Wichita State University, I volunteered as a Spanish Conversation Teacher, providing weekly one-on-one support to students looking to improve their fluency and confidence. In Paraguay, I have taught Spanish to foreign learners, tailoring lessons to meet their individual needs and linguistic backgrounds. I am also a certified English–Spanish translator and have extensive experience working with academic and professional documents in both languages.
Currently, I work with the UK Latin Community in London, where I deliver lessons and lead activities in both Spanish and English. I have had the opportunity to support learners from Latin America whose first language is Spanish, as well as English-speaking individuals who are beginning or continuing their journey with Spanish.

I utilise a student-centered approach to create lessons that are personalized, engaging, and effective. I believe in adapting to the unique needs and goals of each learner, making the learning experience enjoyable and meaningful. As someone passionate about education and technology, I integrate digital tools and multimedia resources into my teaching to make lessons dynamic and engaging. I also include online resources for my students to practice during the week in order to consolidate their knowledge.
