During my senior year of high school, I led the state of California in scoring, averaging 34.7 points per game, while adding 13 rebounds and 5 assists per game. I played Division I basketball for UC Santa Barbara, where I was an All Big West player. I went on to play two professional seasons in the NBA G-League for the Los Angeles D-Fenders and Tulsa 66ers, and for the Los Angeles Lakers NBA Summer League team in Las Vegas. During my first career start as a professional basketball player, I set a Los Angeles D-Fenders franchise record for most points in a game (41). I also played professionally in France, China, Germany, Israel.

After retiring from playing professional basketball in 2012, I began training and coaching basketball players in Los Angeles. During this time, I also volunteered at Palisades Park and Recreation for just under 4 years. I am currently in my 4th season as the assistant basketball coach for ŽKK Triglav, a professional basketball team in Slovenia. I also assisted the U12, U14, U16, U18, and U20 teams during my time with Triglav. My abilities garnered the recognition of the Slovenian Basketball Federation, and I was selected to be the assistant coach for the U20 Slovenian Women’s National Basketball Team, during the 2022 European Championship. I have been invited to coach the team again in the 2023 European Championship.

From my wealth of experiences all over the world, teaching basketball isn’t a one size fit all situation. Each player has unique abilities, potential and skill sets. My lessons will be centered on finding what makes your game special, and bringing out the best version of yourself. Basketball is a team sport, so it will be important to understand the system you are playing, and how to best utilize your skill set and abilities within that system. All basketball systems, no matter how rigid, have openings and opportunities for your individual creativity. We will work together to find these openings and opportunities.
