ABOUT ME: I hold a degree in Actuarial Science and have a deep passion for teaching Mathematics. Throughout my studies I was introduced to some really cool Mathematical concepts and gained some experience in teaching through my role as a Prabability and Statistics teaching assistant at Stellenbosch University. I also obtained an average of 95% for High School Mathematics and a distinction in 6 other subjects.

DYNAMIC OF MY LESSONS: In my tutoring, I customize sessions to suit your needs, allowing you to set the pace and teaching style. I also communicate regularly with my students to ensure that they get the most out of each session. I employ various engaging teaching techniques to make learning enjoyable and memorable- this may include an unhealthy amount of math puns and jokes. My lessons are like hitting the mental gym as I challenge my students to exercise their "problem-solving muscle" and in the process equipping them to overcome mental blocks they might have and spark curiosity. This is accomplished through active recall and exposure to higher-grade problems after mastering the fundamentals.

I want my students to not only do well in their assessments but to spark an interest in the world of numbers.
