I am teach accredited health and social care levels one and two and higher, plus similar training topics such as mental health awareness.
Whilst studying for my teaching at Huddersfield University, I chose to focus on how being creativity can benefit mental health and well-being.
I am a fused and stained glass specialist and teach this subject as well as other art subjects such as life drawing, drawing, printing watercolours, and creative confidence.
I have taught students with mental health, emotional, and behavioural difficulties for a number of years and have taught functional skills English as well as personal progression. I am qualified to teach Tefl/English abroad and have esol qualifications, which I have found to be beneficial in all my lessons. My lessons are creative and use a variety of learning styles to keep learners engaged. I am approachable and friendly with alot of patience. I believe that everyone can achieve their goals and reach their potential.
I have taught art to people who are unwell and unable to leave the house.
