I have taught all age ranges for over 20 years both online and in person. My experience includes 5 years in International teaching where I worked with students aged 9-19 who spoke up to 56 different mother tongues. This gives me a unique understanding of the difficulties faced with learning English if it is not your native tongue.

I have also delivered CPD and professional workshops and training in Education and industry. I have worked in Sales, Marketing and hospitality as well as mental health care and youth sector. I’m a confident public speaker.

I like to make learning relevant and fun. I find that laughter helps people to remember things! Each learner is unique and has their own preferred styles and pace. I will tailor lessons to suit YOU. I pride myself in building friendly rapport and learning about my student so as to meet their needs.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have about me or the way I approach learning. I love languages and believe that words can be truly beautiful and life changing if utilised well.

I have a well articulated, neutral accent and can also teach Received Pronunciation (as spoken by the British Royal Family and many private school, college and university candidates). I can teach creative writing, English analysis, comprehension and reading and effective use of vocabulary in conversation both casually and formally.
