Catelyn Morrow

I have experience working with children and young people through my volunteering as a young leader at my local Brownie's and my regular babysitting. I have also successfully completed tutor training through with the Tutor Trust. This included training in working with children from different backgrounds and with different needs, safeguarding and the tutoring itself.
My lessons are very adaptable based on an individual student's needs. This tends to involve an 'I do, We do, You do' approach which helps to build the student's confidence. I also believe that it is important to make lessons build from each other, so each lesson will start with a recap of the last one to reinforce the student's knowledge.
I have a passion for English Literature having studied it up until the age of 18. At GCSE I received a grade 9 in English Literature and at A-Level I received a grade A. I am also happy to help students with English Language.
