Catalina Ocampo

Hello, there! My name is Cata and I am an English teacher from Argentina, now living in Ireland. I am 25 years old and currently attending university for English Language and Literature.

I have been teaching private English lessons at various levels for the last eight years, including conversational skill development lessons for adults and kids. In addition, I spent two years working as a High School English teacher in Buenos Aires, being in charge of three English classes for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade, as well as History and Literature classes for various other groups.

I specialize in Speaking and Conversation classes, with games and activities to improve pronunciation and fluidity. We will find what particularly challenges your development and improve it! I love incorporating all kinds of exercises that allow for debate and topic reference, both following set book guides and letting natural conversation run free. I also incorporate visual and hearing aid to expand on these activities and vary in different accents.

I love to work in one-on-one sessions, designing lessons for each student and their particular interests and needs. I have experience working with all levels of English and with students aged 12 to adults. Each person has their own learning path and I love to find what suits each person best, to make their learning experience fun and interesting. I am very eager to learn alongside my students as I myself am a student and I am very flexible with timetables, so let me know if you are interested!
