Caspar Gleave

I’m a fourth-year Physics with Theoretical Physics MSci student at Imperial College London, with five years’ experience tutoring GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level Physics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics. I also run The Galileo Interviews, where I speak with leading researchers about frontier science - experience that has made me especially good at turning difficult ideas into clear, engaging explanations.

My lessons are interactive and tailored to the student rather than built around a fixed script. We identify the exact point where a topic has become confusing, rebuild it from first principles, and then apply that understanding to increasingly challenging questions. I encourage students to explain their reasoning aloud, spot patterns and learn how to choose an approach, rather than simply memorising methods.

Lessons are friendly but focused, combining diagrams, discussion, guided problem-solving and exam practice. Whether a student is rebuilding confidence, filling gaps or aiming for top grades, my goal is to make them genuinely understand the subject and become able to tackle unfamiliar problems independently.
