I hold a Level 5 qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), with additional training in phonics, which has greatly enhanced my ability to teach reading and pronunciation effectively. I have two years of hands-on experience providing 1-1 support for primary school children, including those with special educational needs (SEN). This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of different learning styles and strategies to adapt my teaching to meet individual needs.

My approach is rooted in encouraging best practices and fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported. I focus on building subject knowledge and confidence by using clear, engaging methods tailored to each child’s pace and abilities. Through consistent encouragement and positive reinforcement, I aim to help students feel empowered to take risks in their learning, whether that involves mastering phonics sounds or developing new vocabulary.
