Caroline Ratcliffe

I am a passionate and driven teacher within the field of healthcare, human anatomy and physiology and all legal aspects relating to the care industry. I am currently working in an amazing Secondary school on the south east coast but can be available for tutoring during the evenings, weekends and school holidays. I am driven to succeed and spend time to help find students identify the areas they need support with so that we can focus on this area. I teach with real life experiences from years of working both in the NHS as a frontline emergency medical worker based within a Clinical Imaging department at an acute trauma hospital and also for the Home Office where I worked as a Forensic Scientist and qualified Expert Witness. With such a varied work history, these life skills and work experiences are brought into my classroom to help underpin the required learning and development.
I am often complemented by students for my retrieval techniques and exam preparation as it can often be overwhelming for students.
I can teach with many different methods, a more lecture based style if needed however I excel at a more practical based lesson as I am a very visual learner myself. I like to scaffold knowledge as much as possible and help to increase the knowledge each lesson, you set the pace required and I will bring the tools needed to succeed with a huge dose of comedy!
