About me

I have got over 20 years’ experience teaching French at GCSE, A level and I.B, in both independent and state school.
My experience to date includes teaching French to KS5 and Spanish to KS3 as well as IB Language A and Language B, both in the state and private sector. I have taught and have been trained for the new GCSE, specification for both AQA and Edexcel. I therefore have a full understand...

My experience to date includes teaching French to KS5 and Spanish to KS3 as well as IB Language A and Language B, both in the state and private sector. I have taught and have been trained for the new GCSE, specification for both AQA and Edexcel. I therefore have a full understanding of its demands and specifications.
I see my role as a teacher as one that enables my students, regardless of their ability, to achieve their full potential. I adopt a variety of strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities. I am caring, patient, professional and sympathising when it comes to learning a foreign language, whilst raising pupils’ self-esteem and well-being.
