Carol tutored our son, Zac, in Maths and Science for approximately four years, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the first few sessions, Carol recognised that Zac had dyslexia and other difficulties that were affecting his ability to learn. She took the time to understand his needs and adapted her teaching approach to suit him, helping him build confidence and make progress. We initially arranged Maths tuition, but because the sessions were so successful, we added Science tuition as well. Carol was also very flexible during school holidays, which meant Zac could have additional support when he needed it. As his exams approached, she went out of her way to fit in extra sessions before both his Maths and Science exams, ensuring he felt prepared. Zac passed both Maths and Science, and we firmly believe that Carol’s dedication, tailored support and extra tuition played a significant part in those results. Carol is a patient, caring and committed tutor.

Carol is an amazing tutor, I cannot rate her highly enough. She taught GCSE Biology and Chemistry to my son. He started struggling with these subjects in Year 10 and received a Grade 3 in Biology and Grade U in Chemistry. He started lessons with Carol which he enjoyed and found very useful. She was very friendly, patient and explained things in a way that my son found easy to understand. In his final GCSE exams, he received a Grade 6 in both Biology and Chemistry which was an incredible improvement, thanks to Carol

My daughter received tutoring from Carol for a year, initially focussed on Maths but subsequently she also helped with Chemistry and Biology revision, all preparation for final GCSE exams. Carol was very helpful and patient and encouraged my daughter to identify her learning gaps to help shape the sessions. Carol’s support helped with choosing whether to sit Foundation or Higher exams and the outcome was very successful as my daughter achieved the grades she wanted. The one-to-one sessions certainly provided the right environment for my daughter to ask questions, focus on areas she was less confident in and also review test and mock papers to give her the confidence she needed.
