Hello! I am a first year student at the University of Bristol, studying Engineering Maths:) This really gives me a sense of pride, allowing me to see my work and efforts have a real positive impact.

Taking exams is always stressful, even for those who breeze through it. I have found, almost every time, that you’re your own worst enemy, and the test is never as bad as it seems. Applying to University was the same. People have much higher expectations of themselves than are needed, but a little bit of anxiety is always best to make sure you’re being the best version of yourself.

Before University, during my A-Levels, I privately tutored many students, across numerous subjects. This proved challenging at times, for both the student and myself, although consistency always won and the students were always so happy and proud of themselves for reaching grades they never thought possible.

Aside from my studies, I enjoy drumming, attending the society of MMA at University, going to the gym and being a part of my Universities Air Squadron.

When it comes to tutoring you (or your child!) we will usually start with a light starter to get the brain working, focusing on recap from previous lessons. Then the chunk of the lesson will be focused on new material or problem areas, ending with a summary and maybe a short quiz to recap.

I hope to help you improve in both grades and confidence, allowing you to see that you’re much smarter and amazing than you've originally believed to be.
