I am an experienced and results-driven maths tutor offering structured, engaging, and highly personalised lessons designed to build confidence, understanding, and long-term academic success. Through Cambridge Tutoring Academy, I have supported students across a wide range of levels — from KS2 foundations all the way to GCSE and early A-Level — helping them achieve top grades, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and enjoy the subject more.
My lessons follow a clear, supportive structure: we begin by assessing understanding, then break down each topic into simple, logical steps. I use modelling, guided practice, and exam-style questions to help students develop both fluency and exam technique. Students describe my teaching style as calm, patient, and very clear — I explain concepts in multiple ways until everything “clicks”.
I specialise in helping students who lack confidence or feel “stuck” in maths. Many start with anxiety or big gaps, and within weeks they make noticeable progress. I focus not only on teaching the content but also on showing students how to think: pattern-spotting, checking answers, interpreting questions, and approaching unfamiliar problems with confidence.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s needs. I provide personalised worksheets, targeted revision materials, topic checklists, and detailed feedback after lessons so progress remains consistent. For exam students, I create tailored revision plans, identify weak spots quickly, and use proven strategies to maximise marks.
