I offer GCSE Mathematics tutoring focused on making the whole syllabus feel clear, logical and eventually natural to you. In our lessons, we’ll work through the course topic by topic – from algebra, number and graphs to geometry, probability and statistics – filling in any gaps and strengthening what you already know. I break each idea down into simple steps, show you clear examples, and then guide you through similar questions until you’re confident working independently.

My approach is very structured: we’ll follow your exam board’s specification, use past paper questions regularly, and keep a record of the areas you find hardest so we can return to them until they finally “click”. I don’t just want you to memorise methods – I want you to understand why they work, so problem-solving becomes much less scary and much more automatic. We will always be able to go over any topics you do not understand in class, however I will help you develop your skills across the whole syllabus towards whatever goal you have in mind and further.

Because I’ve recently been through GCSEs myself and achieved top grades in Maths and Further Maths, I understand how the exams are marked, the types of questions that come up and the common mistakes students make. Lessons are relaxed and friendly, and you can stop me at any point to ask questions or go over something again. Over time, the aim is that topics which once felt difficult become routine, and your confidence grows with every session – so that by the time you sit your exams, working through GCSE Maths questions feels natural and manageable.
