I help secondary school and GCSE maths students build genuine understanding, not just memorised steps, so they can tackle unfamiliar questions confidently in exams, not just the ones they've practised before.
Lessons run online, working through problems together in real time via screen share. Each session starts with identifying where the gaps are, whether that's a specific topic like trigonometry or algebra, or exam technique more broadly. From there, we work through worked examples and past paper questions, with regular checks to make sure concepts have actually landed before moving on.
I achieved A grades in Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics at A-Level, and I'm now a Computer Science graduate from the University of Birmingham, so analytical, step-by-step thinking is something I use every day. I've also spent over two years as a teaching assistant, working one-to-one with students preparing for exams and adapting explanations to how each individual learns.
