I have strong academic knowledge and hands-on real clinical experience working with people in various mental health settings. I have supported individuals with a range of learning needs and worked closely with professionals across NHS services. These experiences have taught me how to adapt my communication and teaching style to suit each learner, ensuring that lessons are both engaging and effective; tailored to your goals. I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where questions are welcomed and complex ideas become easier to understand through clear explanations.
My lessons are interactive, focussed on you, and structured to build both confidence and understanding. I break down complex psychological concepts into easy-to-understand parts, using everyday examples to help you see how the theory works in real life. I also use a variety of teaching methods, including discussion, quizzes, and practical exercises, to keep lessons interesting.
We’ll start by finding out what you’re good at and where you need more help, then make a clear plan to work on those areas. I’ll also show you how to answer exam questions well, write better essays, and improve your overall study skills. Regular feedback and encouragement are key parts of my approach to help you stay motivated.
I want learning to feel supportive and enjoyable. My aim is to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating your progress. If you want a tutor who’s friendly, patient, and passionate about psychology, it would be great to work with you.
