I have experience in tutoring Physics and Maths at GCSE and A Level in a professional capacity.

I am able to adapt my lessons to the needs of the individual student. In the first session, I'll bring a selection of problems from different topics to help me gain an idea of where the student is doing well, and what areas we should focus on. I will also ask the student which areas they feel like they would like to improve on. At the end of the session, we'll decide on what area to focus on the following session.

Each subsequent session, I'll bring some past paper and exam style problems in the topic that we decided on at the end of the previous session.
I also encourage students to bring any problems that they have found tricky in class or homework. Depending on what the student prefers, I can either guide them through solving the problem themselves, or I can demonstrate how I would go about solving it. I would expect with most students to start with the latter and them we could work towards the former.

I would say that as someone who has recently been through the school system myself, I am well placed to help students.
