My lessons are designed to be calm, engaging, and fully tailored to each student's unique needs. Whether I’m working 1:1 with children in SEND settings or supporting young people and adults, I focus on creating a safe, welcoming space where learning feels natural and enjoyable, not pressured.
Each session begins by checking in with the student: how they’re feeling, what they need today, and what goals we want to focus on. From there, I use a flexible format that blends structure with creativity.
Lessons can take place online or in person, and I adapt the pace depending on attention, confidence, and emotional readiness.
My approach is strongly influenced by psychology and behaviour analysis. I integrate evidence-based strategies, such as positive reinforcement, modelling, task breakdown, and co-regulation, to help students build confidence, independence, and self-awareness.
Every lesson is interactive; I avoid long lectures. Instead, we learn through doing, reflecting, and experimenting with strategies.
Across all ages, my goal is to create learning experiences that feel supportive, empowering, and genuinely enjoyable.
My Background & Experience
I am a counsellor, psychotherapist, and SEND behaviour analyst with extensive experience supporting autistic individuals, children with Down syndrome, and people dealing with anxiety, low mood, trauma, or everyday emotional challenges. My psychological training allows me to understand behaviour deeply and respond with sensitivity, patience, and clarity.
