Hi, I’m Brianna! I’m an English and writing tutor with experience as a college peer writing tutor, after-school teacher, and student support specialist. I help students with English, essay writing, reading comprehension, grammar, creative writing, homework support, study skills, and building confidence with schoolwork.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and clear. I’m especially good at helping students organize their thoughts, understand assignments, improve their writing, and feel less overwhelmed. I can support elementary, middle school, high school, and beginner college-level students.

I can also support beginner Canva and digital skills, including simple design projects, presentations, content creation, and basic online tools.

I like to start by learning what each student is working on, what feels confusing, and what kind of support helps them feel comfortable. From there, I break assignments into smaller steps so the work feels less stressful and easier to finish. For writing lessons, I can help with brainstorming, outlining, thesis statements, paragraph structure, editing, and final polish. For reading lessons, I can help students slow down, find the main idea, understand vocabulary, and answer questions with more confidence.

I also bring creative tools into learning when helpful, including Canva, slides, visual organizers, and simple digital projects. This can be especially useful for students who learn better with visuals or need help making presentations. My goal is to make tutoring feel supportive, useful, and calm. I want every student to leave each session understanding the next step and feeling proud of their progress.
