I studied for an Education degree based in music but became a primary school teacher over time. Most of my proficiency is based around Years 1-6 and working abroad teaching English for 3.5 years.

The content has usually been created to suit the Scheme of Work that is provided by the educational institution I work for, so the National Curriculum in the UK or a multinational version abroad.

I prefer to use a variety of formats to teach different aspects of a subject.

These can include but are not limited to the following activities:

Presentations, animated or not
Practical activities
Interactive activities
Question and answer
Reading and understanding

I am used to regular testing for pupils I teach and while I do not look for this pressure towards children and I am used to planning learning material that will aim to maintain progress in a subject.

This can all be discussed and agreed upon before starting as per the pupils requirements.
