I have experience in informal tutoring where I have supported my younger sister with maths topics she struggles the most with to improve her confidence in her ability. Regularly help classmates and friends, explaining concepts in a clear and structured way. Patient and able to explain the same idea in different ways and through previous experiences I have noticed the importance of building confidence, not just getting the right answer.
I have a strong relationship with maths as I have achieved grade 8 in GCSE math, completed A-level Maths and currently studying Computer Science, which involves the application of high level mathematical concepts.
I aim to cover topics from key stage 3 to GCSE Maths, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. Helping students develop exam techniques, working through past papers, and understanding mark schemes is also of high importance to achieve a high grade.
