I believe that is very important for students to focus on their weak areas but not to do so by completely abandoning the other areas of the subject. So that's what I would do, I would assess your strengths and weakness so that I can help create a proper plan for me to teach you, whether that be going through the bare basics of a concept or going through example questions to iron out mistakes or misconceptions. However, I wouldn't completely neglect your strengths and I would, every few weeks, make sure that you are just as strong in those areas with little pop quizzes using previous exam questions and sometimes modifying them, because there would be no point in improving your weak areas if your strong areas become your weak areas.
