My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, experience level, and creative interests. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can build confidence, experiment creatively, and develop practical skills at their own pace.

Lessons can be taught online or in person depending on location and requirements. I use a hands-on, step-by-step teaching approach with demonstrations, visual references, guided practice, and constructive feedback throughout each session. I believe learning works best when students feel encouraged and supported, so lessons are always adapted to suit different learning styles and confidence levels.

I can teach a range of areas including beginner makeup techniques, creative makeup, special effects makeup, character design, prosthetic application, sculpting basics, portfolio development, and creative project support. I am also happy to help students preparing for college or university applications within creative subjects.

As a BA (Hons) Special Effects Makeup for Film & Television graduate, I have experience working with a variety of industry techniques and materials, alongside collaborative project work and professional workshop practices. I have also had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside industry professionals including Matt Winston through the Stan Winston School of Character Arts and special effects artist Steve Wang, further developing my understanding of professional creature design, sculpting, and prosthetic techniques.

My background has helped me develop strong communication, patience, organisation, and attention to detail, which I bring into every lesson. My goal is to make learning creative makeup approachable, engaging, and enjoyable while helping students grow both technically and creatively.
