I have been teaching students English Language and Literature for 3+ years, and I am an expert at breaking down complex literary concepts into simple ideas. I understand that the complex language of Chaucer and Shakespeare can be intimidating for students, and I help you to break down the language and learn strategies to identify the simple meaning behind it. I will give you tailored instruction and feedback and help you to become adept at recognising tone, style and literary intention. I use active listening and engagement strategies to foster a genuine love of reading, instead of just teaching students to memorise facts.
