Beth Nichols

I’m a specialist GCSE and A-level French and Spanish tutor with I over 25 years of teaching and tutoring experience, helping students of all ages achieve their language-learning goals.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. We might work on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, writing, or translation, depending on what will be most useful. My aim is to help students make steady progress while feeling well prepared for whatever they're working towards.

For GCSE and A-level students, we use past papers and exam-style tasks regularly to build the skills and techniques needed for success in the exam. I have a wide range of online and printed resources, and I'm equally happy to incorporate the textbooks and materials students are already using at school.

Alongside exam tuition, I also teach French and Spanish to adults for travel, work, relocation, or simply for the enjoyment of learning a language.
