As a integrative counsellor I deliver mindfulness in a practical, compassionate, and supportive way, helping students understand how their mind and body respond to stress, uncertainty, and overwhelm. My approach focuses on calming the nervous system and creating emotional balance so students can feel safer, more focused, and more confident in their daily lives and studies.

Through guided mindfulness techniques, breathing exercises, grounding strategies, and sensory-based approaches, I teach students how to calm their minds during moments of anxiety, pressure, or emotional overload. I help them recognise the signs of overwhelm and develop tools they can use independently both inside and outside the classroom.

My work is informed by my qualifications and experience in both education and counselling. I hold an FDA in Learning Support, a Certificate in Sensory Integration, and an FDA in Counselling. These qualifications allow me to understand the connection between emotional wellbeing, learning, sensory processing, and personal development.

I believe mindfulness should feel accessible and realistic, especially for young people navigating academic pressures and uncertainty. My aim is to provide a calm, non-judgemental space where students can learn to regulate their emotions, strengthen resilience, and build healthier coping strategies that support both their wellbeing and their ability to learn and thrive.

I also encourage students to develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion, helping them feel more connected to themselves and their abilities. By learning simple, effective mindfulness practices, students can improve concentration, emotional regulation, sleep, confidence, and overall wellbeing, creating positive foundations that support both personal growth and academic success.
