Berkay Tuncer

I am a native Turkish speaker and I offer practical, friendly, and supportive Turkish lessons for beginners and intermediate learners. My lessons are especially suitable for travellers, visitors, expats, and international students who want to communicate confidently in Turkey and understand everyday social situations more naturally.

My teaching style focuses on real-life communication rather than memorising long grammar rules from the beginning. I help students learn useful Turkish for daily situations such as greeting people, introducing themselves, asking for directions, ordering food, shopping, using public transport, making simple requests, and explaining their needs clearly. I also teach how to speak politely and approach local people in a respectful and natural way, which is very important in Turkish culture.

In my lessons, I adapt the content to each student’s level, goals, and pace. Some students may want survival Turkish for travel, while others may want to improve their speaking skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, or confidence in conversation. I try to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel relaxed and motivated to speak without fear of making mistakes.

As a teacher, I am patient, attentive, and organised. I listen carefully to what each student needs and I prepare lessons that are practical, clear, and useful. I can support students in improving speaking, listening, reading, and basic writing skills, depending on their goals. I can also explain cultural expressions, daily etiquette, and common phrases that people really use in Turkey.
