My lessons are friendly, focused, and built around what each student needs most. I usually start by identifying the topics they’re finding difficult or need to review, and then work through them using clear explanations, diagrams, and real-life examples to make the science more relatable.
I like to keep sessions interactive—asking questions as we go and encouraging students to explain concepts back to me, which helps solidify their understanding. We finish with a few exam-style questions or quick quizzes to apply what we’ve covered and spot any gaps.
I first started tutoring when I helped my younger brother prepare for his GCSEs, and that experience showed me how valuable it is to have someone who can explain things at the right pace, without pressure. Since then, I’ve continued tutoring GCSE students and always aim to make learning science feel manageable and even enjoyable.
