Behnaz Amini

I am an experienced educator with more than fifteen years of teaching across Primary and Secondary schools, private institutions, and one-to-one tuition. My background includes teaching Mathematics, Science, English, and coding, as well as supporting pupils with a range of learning needs. I hold a Master of Arts in Education from Sheffield Hallam University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Software Engineering. These qualifications have strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to integrate effective teaching methods with modern technology.

My lessons are structured, clear, and highly supportive. I begin each session by identifying the learner’s goals and assessing their current understanding. I then break content into manageable steps, ensuring that explanations are simple, logical, and easy to follow. I use a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, problem-solving tasks, visual examples, and real-life applications to help students understand how concepts connect.

I adapt the pace and style of teaching for each learner, offering additional support where needed and providing stretch activities for those aiming for higher achievement. Feedback is an important part of my lessons: I always explain mistakes carefully and help students develop confidence and independence.

I have extensive experience preparing learners for exams, improving their comprehension, and building long-term academic skills. My goal is not only to teach the subject but also to help students enjoy learning, gain confidence, and make steady progress. My teaching environment is positive, respectful, and encouraging, allowing every learner to feel supported and motivated.
