I've been teaching English in General classes as well as IELTS courses about 10 years. What I claim to be professional at is trying to discover every student's interest during teaching, so that I can customize tasks and courses based on what they like. My previous learners also describe me "patient" and I am happy about that.
I always try to provide my students with lots of illustrations and clarifications until I make sure they have got the point, specially for those who are afraid of grammar.
I recently achieved my CELTA from Cambridge which was a big virtue for me to get into depth of details while teaching.
I always try to distinguish classes in different formats such as elementary level for children, mid level for teenagers and professional skill classes for adults who are seeking for general courses, business courses etc...
what I always value the most in my teaching is to improve students' vocabulary and help them become professional in using appropriate words in different settings. I have seen students with more amount of words can handle themselves in various situations even if their grammar is a little bit lagging, though grammar is also like a puzzle and I try to go in a step by step pace in grammar so that every taught material is soaked in learners' mind and they won't ever confuse them at all.
