Beatrice Formaggi

I am a well-qualified and experienced teacher of Modern Foreign Languages. Since I moved to the UK, I have been teaching in schools and colleges in south west Wales. Over the years I have gathered extensive experience in dealing with the challenges of teaching and kept abreast of curriculum developments as a teacher and examiner/moderator.
I believe I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who thrives on new challenges and always looks for new stimulating ways to engage learners with meaningful learning experiences which will enhance their results, while remaining sensitive to their needs. I believe students have always found me approachable and caring.
I have a very positive track record of high results achieved both in GCSE and A level exams.
My work experience as an examiner [Spanish and Italian] has given me valuable insights into how my subjects are assessed; it has kept me up to date with the new developments in what exam boards expect from pupils and has allowed me to refine my teaching in this area to help students to show their knowledge in ways which best meet the assessment criteria in order to gain strong grades.
