I offer relaxed, supportive one-to-one coaching sessions designed to help students build confidence, improve organisation and feel more in control of their studies and future goals.
My approach is conversational rather than classroom-based. We would normally start by talking about what you would like to improve, whether that is motivation, time management, confidence, dealing with pressure, setting goals or simply getting some structure back into your week. From there, we can agree on a small number of realistic actions and review how things are progressing in future sessions.
I hold an RQF Level 3 Award in Coaching and Mentoring and have completed safeguarding training. I have also recently been appointed as an MCR Pathways Mentoring Coordinator within a secondary school, supporting young people with confidence, engagement and personal development.
Earlier in my career I worked in football representation, where I supported young players and their families through important decisions about their development and future careers. I have also managed and mentored younger members of staff in the workplace.
I believe good coaching is mainly about listening, asking the right questions and helping someone find solutions that work for them rather than simply telling them what to do.
Sessions are friendly, confidential and focused on practical progress. My aim is to help students become more confident, organised and independent, while giving them a supportive space to talk through any challenges they are facing.
