My lessons follow a mastery approach, where we focus on building a deep understanding of each topic before moving on. I prioritise confidence in every skill, ensuring students feel secure and capable rather than rushed through content.

Sessions are varied, interactive, and tailored to each student. I use a mix of mini whiteboard work, exam-style questions, textbooks, worksheets, and maths quizzes to keep lessons engaging and effective. A strong focus is placed on exam technique, helping students not only understand maths but also apply it confidently in assessments.

I encourage students to have a voice in their learning, giving them the flexibility to focus on areas they want to improve or topics they find challenging. This personalised approach helps maintain motivation and makes learning more meaningful.

Above all, I create a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow in confidence. My aim is to make maths enjoyable, build long-term understanding, and help students achieve their full potential.
